fabrikade cuts the ribbon!

After many months of going through the thinking process (with loads of caffeine to boot), sourcing + negotiating with our very cool labels, email diarrhea with Winnie (our very talented web designer) and amongst other things… our web store is officially open.
There are quite a number of local web stores so what makes us any different? The response may seem silly, but have you ever tried to purchase graphic apparels/merchandise online and found yourself at a site that looks and feel like the early dot com days? That, you don’t have a clue who created the cool graphics on the shirt? Or looking to go local but sees only ‘foreign talent’? With all that in mind, we have created fabrikade with the aim to showcase overseas and local design labels via the world wide. As the name suggests, we are to create, to invent. Our purpose is to bring more talents in the industry and related trades together for fusion of ideas and collaboration, in the form of fashion apparel and accessories that exude personality, attitude, creativity, fun and funk.
We think we have put together a site that is more than being an online retail store. Every month, we will feature one family member (label) so that you can get to know better what you are wearing on yourself, and perhaps how you can add some oomph to your personality. So remember to check back every month! We have a page specially dedicated to all who gave us a hand (and leg) along the way and we would like to acknowledge their efforts by featuring them, showcasing their talents and works, so that you can get to know them too.

We prefer to bring more talents into the industry and related trades together for fusion of ideas and collaboration, rather than restocking old designs.
