retail companies that are reaching out with blogs and social media?

noted on May 2nd, 2008 by fabrikade

For the uninitiated, fabrikade solely operates as a webstore that showcases Singapore’s talent to the world and makes worldwide talent tee art readily available in Singapore. There’s a interview on us with Singapore Entrepreneurs TLE so if you wanna now about our story, that’s the one to read up to.

fabrikade embraces Social Media as a mean to connect to our customers and would-be customers in gaining a better understanding of our customers and increasing brand exposure. We loved to hear how visitors and customers has to say about their shopping experiences with us, the products we brought in, their interests in other labels and so forth. It is the conversations and thoughts between the customers and us that we learn to how to improve our efforts and development. We think we have taken little steps with Social Media and will continue working on brewing the culture of design appreciation and awareness in Singapore.

So much on us, Christopher Carfi of The Social Customer Manifesto wrote a cool review entitled “Reaching Out: Four Retail Companies That Are Reaching Out with Blogs and Social Media“. As recent as we remembered, M1 launched a campaign entitled “You Deserve Better” to find out how they can improve their products and services. Everyone is invited to submit their views. Which other local companies you have seen launching such initiatives?
