perspective defying eureka tower carpark in melbourne

Monday, August 25th, 2008

You probably won’t go in the wrong direction inside this carpark. Axel Peemoeller developed this way-finding-system for the Eureka Tower Carpark in Melbourne while working for Emery Studio. At first, they look distorted but standing at the right direction, they can be read perfectly and very well.

The graphics were inspired by the work of Swiss artist Felice Varini, whose perspective defying installations look a lot like giant vector art superimposed on buildings or interior architectural spaces.

this is the home of the compressed t-shirt

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

TeeCompressed.com is a Durrani Design company located in sunny Southern California, in the surf town of Encinitas, CA.

They specialize in custom promotional products, including the revolutionary Compressed Tee. The would be compressed t-shirts are subjected to their patented process that uses specially built machinery and tremendous pressure. With over 500 stock shapes available, clients have alot of choices available. This is a good things as custom shapes cost more to produce as a result of custom mould for the shape. However, too truly reflect the consistency of your branding and planned promotions, go for a customised one.

I have seen and received such compressed t-shirts before and the quality is not good after it’s decompressed from it’s original state. Those were really thin and they seemed ready to be ripped apart if I send them for a second wash to the washing machine. They were also made from synthetic material and not 100% cotton. TeeCompressed.com stocks and uses 100% cotton. Consider going green with their white or natural colored organic t-shirt with water based inks too.

This is the only site I have bumped into with such capabilities but I’m sure there are more out there. Do you know of any Singapore printing companies offering such service? Drop that in the comment space ya.
